Now, you may wonder why I presented two different versions or tellings of the story of the sons of Abraham. To some, this may not be a big deal or even a subject of contention. To others, this may come as a WOW moment. However, the actual truth of the story is very important. The importance is placed on who was actually the inheritor of the COVENENT of God.
For Jews and Christians, if you will review this next exposition with critical awareness, you will at least have some questions regarding what you were previously taught and/or what you were indoctrinated to believe. Perhaps, nothing will change in your thinking. Moreover, perhaps you will look at the Scriptures more critically and more openly.
