WAS MUHAMMAD PROPHESIED IN THE BIBLE?
Hello my brothers and sisters. I want to share something really profound with you. This is from The Song of Solomon…(5:16).
The King James version;
“His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”
The New International version; “His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem.”
In Hebrew; “חִכֹּו֙ מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים וְכֻלֹּ֖ו מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים זֶ֤ה דֹודִי֙ וְזֶ֣ה רֵעִ֔י בְּנֹ֖ות יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃”
The part I want you to pay attention to is where the Scriptures say; “he is all together lovely…” This is translated from the word “מַחֲמַדִּ֑” or “MHMD”.
If you Google this word, (מַחֲמַדִּ֑) you’ll get the name Muhammad in the English translation. Try this yourself. I will isolate this word in the next paragraph so you can research it yourself. Just copy and post it to your Google search engine. Then look for English translation.
מַחֲמַדִּ֑
There are many verses in the Old Testament that mentions the prophecy or the coming of the Prophet Muhammad. However, most Christians and Jews either can’t read Hebrew or are hiding/lying about what the Scriptures actually say about Muhammad. What do you think about this? Feel free to comment.
Lastly…
Is it substantiated by other sources that Mohammed is mentioned in the Bible, other than what I’ve said?
The old testment of the bible is preserved in its original form in Hebrew Language.
When looking at Songs of Solomon chapter 5, it looks like it is talking about someone. Jews say it is talking about Solomon, Christians say it is talking about Jesus. The English translation of Songs of Solomon 5:16 has been presented above. Again, the verse in the Hebrew text looks like this…
חִכֹּו֙ מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים וְכֻלֹּ֖ו מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים זֶ֤ה דֹודִי֙ וְזֶ֣ה רֵעִ֔י בְּנֹ֖ות יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
The word in examination is translated as Ma ha ma dim.
In Hebrew language, as it is in Arabic and most of eastern languages, there are 2 types of Plurals, for numbers and for respect.
In Hebrew the plural of respect is written like this “im” at the end of the word. so Ma ha ma dim is Mohammed added by “im” for respect.
So now, my dearest Jewish & Christian brothers and sisters, and everyone else invested in this discussion, what is you comment or statement about this proof?
Hello, I am Kevin. this is my first occasion to comment on some of the many posts that you frequently publish. Zella,
I appreciate the simple but kind words. I do what I do because I couldn’t find a site that does what I am trying to do. I just wanted to be able to tell the complete stories about the Abrahamic religions. Nothing more; nothing less. Please share your experience with others. God Bless.
