•      God’s scriptures (i.e. The Torah, Bible & Qur’an) regularly communicates, to the BELIEVERS, to be charitable and kind to others. It’s easier to talk a good talk than it is to walk a righteous walk. Well, today a friend and I decided to do just that. I’m not publishing this in order to shine light on our good deed. I’m  publishing this to be an example and to encourage others to be obedient to our Creator and compassionate towards our fellow man.
My beautiful wife helped us organize our intentions and assemble a few CARE PACKAGES to be distributed to the less fortunate. What I thought would be a simple issuance of kindness ended up being an emotional and spiritually humbling experience. I didn’t expect the recipients to be so appreciative, trusting and giving of themselves. In the end, I was left contemplating who was truly the charitable ones.
I’ve been truly humbled by this experience. I also acknowledge that I’ve been blessed (by God) to be able to do such a thing. Perhaps next time some of my “Interfaith Community” brothers & sisters can participate with me… (even if it’s in a small way). God bless you all… SINCERELY!
If you would like to participate in the next mission or have a good charitable idea, please contact us via our email address.
